My sister started building a house more then a year ago. At the same time she put her current house up for sale. Problem is that there are 15 other houses in her area that are for sale also..she can’t get anyone in to show her house let alone any offers. She really can’t afford to keep both mortgages and needs to sell her house FAST. Any suggestions? Renting is something she can’t really consider b/c she wouldn’t be able to afford the up-keep of the house if anything went wrong.
She has a realtor and he is trying really hard to show it but nothing is happening.

I had to threaten realtors involved in the purchase of my house with walking out if we did not close by a dead line since they were happy to let tenants stay on while I got charged extensions to keep my rate by the lender.Fast forward 3 yrs.to the sale of my house. I have fired a string of realtors while trying to sell my house(one for trying to get me into a land contract after my lawyer jumped at the suggestion,another for trying to lower my asking price below what I needed to pay off the mortgage instead of telling me frankly that it wasn’t a good time to list when I told her what I would need,and a third for not following the advertising plan she brought to me to get the listing) I have a new realtor whom I think is wonderful and is doing things right but she is not getting traffick through the house and I feel perhaps it is due to my house being blacklisted by the other realtors. How do I sell my house when it has been blacklisted?
I BUY AND SELL: House is priced below CMA done by current realtor(prices are higher in this year’s market than last year when the realtor tried to lower my price).It is also below Zillow’s estimate and I have seen comparables. My house has no holes, ripped carpeting or has the defects comparables have. My realtor swears she is marketing so where to from here?

My house is currently for sale and is listed with a Realtor that isn’t promoting the house very well at all and is doing nothing to help it sell faster so we can be moved before winter and the projected skyrocketing gas prices hit and we are stuck paying to heat a 1 1/2 Story house all winter. Could someone please suggest a Realty that works fast or someone to write to that could help us?

We looked at this great house and offered a few over asking. That was about a month ago. The house was so close to foreclosure that they pulled it from the County Sheriff’s sale. Every day I think that Today’s the day. We’ll hear something but every day no news. Their realtor said that he thought it would go fast. And to some extent he was right because we turned the offer over to him on a Monday and Monday even the Owner had accepted the deal. But now we’re waiting on the bank. Does anyone know the process that the banks go through and how long does it usually take? Should I start looking for another house that isn’t a short sale? Starting to feel like my life is in a holding pattern and I am not allowed to land.

I have my own realtor but the seller , don’t want me to use my realtor so he want have to buy him comission. He said he would let me use my realtor but he would up the price of the house. So he could pay him commission and still get the asking price of the house. But then it would be more than my loan approval.The seller said he would give me a warranty for a year for piece of mind. So that makes me feel better. If I don’t use my realtor would I be spending more money or less. How does it work when you buy a house for sale buy owner? I’ve only looked at house that real estate agents are helping to sell. Will I close faster this way. Please give me your advice. Also who handles all the paper work.
Quick House Sale
I put an offer in on a house Monday evening, but i have not heard anything back as of yet. This is my first home purchase and i am really nervous. I hate to keep on calling my realtor, he doesn’t seem to care though, but i know if i were him i would turn my phone off.
How long does it usually take to hear a yes or no? The home is in pre-forclosure and in fast sale.

since then. We are selling the house for what it will cost the pay off the mtg and pay the realtor.. I was thinking of doing A by sale by owner and drop the price almost 5000, which would have been her share of the sale.. Is it right to do that? She is telling me I might still have to give her money..

Ok- owe $126M, house should appraise for $135M-$140M. I am planning on getting a realtor & trying to sell the normal way. I live in St. Louis, MO., and I want to move to PA in the summer so my son can start school in Aug-Sept. If the house doesn’t sell by mid-July, isn’t there a way I can contact the mortgage company and get them to buy it for the amount I owe? I’m afraid a “buy houses quick” place will not offer me the price I need to pay off the mortgage. The house is in great shape, clutter-free, and I think it will sell fast, but who knows in this market? I’ve heard of a short-sale, but it sounds to me like that occurs when you are behind in your mortgage, and you offer the mortgage co less than what you owe, and it sounds like it could affect your credit. Sure- I’d love to make money on this house, but when it comes down to it, if it doesn’t sell, I’m willing to just get out without owing anything. Thanks in advance for your help!

We are trying sale a house in Neosho Missouri and relocate to Arkansas. I already have a job and am in Arkansas, but my husband isn’t. Its not a fancy house, but it is a nice house with a lot of possibilities. The market is slow and so far we haven’t had any luck. We’ve had it up for sale by owner for about 6 weeks. We had it up for sale with a realtor for about 3 months last spring. Does anyone have any suggestions at all as to how to hurry along the sale of this house? We’re desperate….We’ll try anything…..
